The Poetry Book Society protects the privacy of
our site's users and of our customers' personal
information.
Such information will only be used to assist the
efficient processing of your orders and requests.
Personal information, such as your name, order
details and delivery address is only shared with
third parties directly involved in the fulfilment
of an order.

Use of credit and debit card information
The Poetry Book Society does not store any information
from credit or debit cards used in transactions
via this website.
As you make a purchase you will be asked to
complete a secure payment form. This is held
on the Protx servers and is protected by secure
server software offering the highest levels
of data encryption. This ensures that all of
the information entered on the secure payment
form is encrypted.
All communications between The Poetry Book Society
and Protx that relate to your orders are conducted
using unique reference codes. These enable both
parties to identify an order and a customer
without requiring The Poetry Book Society to
have access to credit or debit card information.

How The Poetry Book Society uses the information you give
us
When you place an order we will ask for your
name, email address and delivery address. You
can also enter your phone number if you wish.
We use this information to process and fulfil
your orders and to enable you to keep track
of the progress of your order. Once you have
entered these details you need not do so again,
simply click on Login or My Account and you
will see details of previous orders and your
chosen delivery address. You will not see your
credit or debit card details because we do not
hold this information.
The Poetry Book Society may use the personal
information you give us, when you place an order,
or request a newsletter for example, to inform
you of important changes to the site and special
offers and promotions we think could be of interest
to you. You will always be given the opportunity
to opt out of receiving such information and
if at any time you change your mind and no longer
wish to receive emails from us, please let us
know by emailing info@poetrybooks.co.uk. |
